The Price is Right – 1971

The game show “The Price is Right” first aired on US television back in 1972, with the British version, hosted by the great Leslie Crowther, coming to our screens in 1984. In the show contestants had to guess the price of various items, the nearest (without going over) progressed to the next round.

In my version of the game I have chosen the year 1971, the year decimal currency was introduced, to avoid the issue with Pounds, Shillings and Pence, and to make it “easier” I have given the choice of three prices.
